What seems like a wave of people moving Worcester; this after meeting 2 families that have moved to Worcester, (1) from Puerto Rico and the second family from Waterford, CT, it’s safe to say that there are a number of ’transplants’ calling Worcester home.
With real estate prices being low, and accessible highways that can land you in Boston, Providence, Springfield and Hartford within 45-minutes when there’s no track……Wustah becomes a very attractive place to live.
Having lived in Worcester for close to 12-years, I’ve come to realize that in order to live here you have to be confident, have an eye for the strange, and have the ability to figure out ‘work arounds’.
Why am I telling you this? Its because I’ve had to employ all of them while living in the COW (read: City of Worcester), and I’m sure you’ve had to employ your own coping mechanisms.
Going from Wustah to Worcester takes skill, and you have to employ a tag line that I’ll borrow from Chicago……’The City of Big Shoulders and Wind“. So, in other words we have to be MAJOR!
