I coach two girls’ travel soccer teams with Worcester Youth Soccer League, and it truly is fun to watch these young ladies learn to play the game, compete against surrounding town teams, and enjoy the camaraderie that exists with being on a team.
I’m excited to announce that registration for the Fall 2012 season is now open, and I encourage you to sign-up your daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, niece or nephew immediately.
Also, I highly recommend registering online using a debit/ credit card, but you can also register in person at one of the upcoming registration nights taking place at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Lincoln Plaza……NEXT MONDAY and THURSDAY June 4th and 7th…from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION AT Dick’s Sporting Goods NEXT Monda and Thursday:
We will have our normal TWO In-Person Events NEXT MONDAY and THURSDAY June 4th and 7th…from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (email me direct at registrar@wysl.org if you are interested to help out for 1,2 or 3 hours either night…I’d appreciate the company!). These will be taking place at DICKS SPORTING GOODS, LINCOLN PLAZA.
WYSL JAMBOREE SATURDAY JUNE 9TH:
You can also pick up Registration Forms at the WYSL JAMBOREE on Saturday June 9th, if you still like doing the old fashioned ‘paper method’.
TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS WEEK OF 6/18 THRU 6/22:
WYSL will be having TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS for U10, U12 and U14 age groups only, during the week of June 18th thru June 22 at Farber Field, Camelot Dr, Worcester.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Register Online BEFORE you go to tryouts…it is a HUGE timesave for you and everyone involved.
Age Group and Tryout Date info is as follows:
- Monday June 18th – U14 BOYS and GIRLS (Born between 8/1/98 – 7/31/00)
- Tuesday June 19th – U12 GIRLS (Born between 8/1/00 – 7/31/02)
- Wednesday June 20th – U12 BOYS (Born between 8/1/00 – 7/31/02)
- Thursday June 21st – U10 BOYS (Born between 8/1/02 – 7/31/04)
- Friday June 22nd – U10 GIRLS (Born between 8/1/02 – 7/31/04)
COSTS:
Our costs remain unchanged at $75 for Recreation teams, and $85 for Travel Teams (with a $10 discount if you re-use your SPRING 2012 entire uniform).
During the summer, there is less time to get your Registrations in…so please DO NOT DELAY and Sign-Up TODAY (Players AND Coaches!)
